UCHSC Integrated Nutrition Education Program:

INEP is a community nutrition education program for K-5 grade students.  The program is in 15 counties statewide reaching over 25,000 students throughout the school year.  The program also offers education opportunities for parent and family-based activities.

The project will involve video taping and editing of INEP’s Program manager talking about an aspect of the program.  The video will be shown to 1,000 teachers this fall (~12 teachers per showing) and should ideally be no longer than 5 minutes long.

We are seeking a video clip that captures the uniqueness and impact of this program.  The video will be used for promotion and presentations to potential school districts as well as professional meetings and conferences.

I believe this project is fairly straightforward and may take 1 month for a team to complete. The scale of the project is variable depending on the depth of information and time limitations.

This project will help convey a complicated and dry aspect of our program. The paperwork required of teachers that are participating in this program can be a nuisance.   The goal is that it will improve attitudes and adherences to the required paperwork and therefore the programs outcomes.

Video/editing software with attention lighting and sound as well.  The video will be on our website but we will also need CD/DVD as well for presentations without a live platform.

This project begins immediately: July 2008 start and August 2008 completion.

Please contact us immediately if you are interested in working on this project.
