June 9th: High School Track Video Mapping Classes begin at MLK Early College.
June 16th: Kickoff/Orientation/Program Launch at the Denver Center for International Studies. 5pm - 8pm.
June 17th: College Track Video Informatics Classes begin at Emily Griffith Opportunity School and Career Education Center Middle College.
July 7th: Experimental Workshop #1 at the Denver Center for International Studies. 12:00noon - 2:00pm.
September 8th: Fall Semester Orientation at DCIS. 4:oopm - 6:oopm.

Experimental Workshops and Creative Sessions
20 - 30 of these workshops/sessions are planned throughout the year and are open to both High School and College Track participants. Most Creative Sessions and Experimental Workshops will be held at the Denver Center for International Studies (DCIS). Some other events and workshops led by Creative/Tecnical Director Ryan S Ballard are open to Visual Informatics participants for FREE or a reduced fee.

Thursday, June 26th, 2008: Razzamataz presents the Ramayana for Butterfly Hope at Cheltenham Elementary (1510 Julian Street, Denver, CO 80204). 6:00pm - 8:00pm. There will be delicious Indian food, snake charmers, a giant monkey puppet, a 10-headed demon king, and kids painted blue like the Hindu god-king Rama.

Monday, July 7th, 2008: Experimental Workshop #1 at the Denver Center for International Studies. 12:00noon - 2:00pm. Theme = Geodesic Domes, Particle Physics, and Sacred Geometry.

Friday, July 11th, 2008: Razzamataz presents King Pakal's Mayan Space Adventures at the Downtown Aurora Visual Arts (1405 Florence Street, Aurora, CO 80010). 7:00pm - 9:00pm. There will be a stone spaceship, aliens, a space dome puppet theater, and a giant Quetzalcoatl puppet.

Saturday, July 12th (11:00am - 4:00pm) & Sunday, July 13th (12:00noon - 5:00pm), 2008: Dr. Razzamataz's Experimental Electronic Homemade Sitar Experience at the Arvada Center for the Arts (6901 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80003). If you would like to attend this workshop you must contact Ryan directly. Space is limited and participants not affiliated with Visual Informatics must pay $110 for this workshop and register through the Arvada Arts Center.
